Game Description:

In Feast Rush, the player would act as a customer at a buffet, which he/she needs to eat enough food to make his/her way out of the restaurant, as if the customer did not eat enough, he/she did not make enough value of the money spent. If he/she ate too much, then he/she needs to suffer from a food coma.

During the gameplay, other customers would try to get in the way to block the player from eating, as they want to make the worth of their money as well. The goal of the game is to exit the restaurant after you have earned enough points from eating food.

Instruction:

Feast Rush is a point-and-click game.

Right-click in the map - Move

Left-click on food - Eat

It reminds me of the some of the first games I played which were food dasher games. I really enjoyed the gameplay but I kind of wish my character moved a little bit quicker? I think I'm just impatient though. Loved the assets that were used!

I liked the game because it reminds me of this cooking game I used to play on the DS.I think the game is pretty fun and interesting. I like how you have all these kitchen assets in-game. I would have liked to see more detail like a character face, but overall I think it was a great game!

I love the concept of this game.

I remember playing the game during beta testing and it has improved quite a bit since then. The enemy AI has improved considerably, and the food is easier to pick up. I also like that you took into account my feedback of making the food disappear once the player eats it.

I really like the idea of the game!It was something very different, and it was very refreshing. I thought everything tied in nicely and the aesthetic is very nice.

I thought this was nice and funny game to play. The idea of purely eating food for a game is something I havent seen before and thought it was nice. The only thing I would have liked to see would be a player model but besides that it was good.

Overall a great game! I love the idea of eating enough food. And the music really matched with the art style. The game reminds me of Overcooked, although they are not similar at all. But both Overcooked and this game are the kind of game I like and I did really enjoyed it. My only suggestion is to add some animation to make it more completed.

i love the design and theme of the game so much. It reminds me of one of my favorite multiplayer games, Overcooked. I think that the aesthetic could be greatly enchanted where the location should take place in an actual restaurant to give the “serving food” to customers a better feel.

I think the concept of the game is great and has a lot of potential. I think the game can have really chaotic levels with a ton of other customers blocking you. The UI needs to be improved a bit, the title screen is pretty small and the font color makes it really hard to read. The player's movement feels a bit slow so I think a movement buff would improve the experience. Overall, I think the concept and potential is great, just certain aspects are holding it back.

The music and assets look very nice. Everything sounds cheerful but the background asset lowkey looks like a prison to me. Btw you can check the "loop" option when you add the background music to ensure that the music continues to play even after the music, technically, finishes. Other than that, the concept of this game is quite noble and I really like it! Adding a walking animation would be neat.

I like the game design. I haven't seen this kind of game for a while now. I remembered playing these eating or cooking games back when I was still in primary schools. The music is also good and it is very compatible with the game theme. In addition, the map design is also great since it has its boundary and the furniture and food setup look great.

Some suggestions I would like to give is that maybe it is better to change the competing customers from red objects into some humans. Also, the instruction says that the right click is the move button but it is the left click in game. Also, some of the food are non-eatable(like the banana in a pan). Maybe it will be better to change them.

Overall very good game with an inspirational design.

This game was too cute. I like how like frantic it made me oddly enough? It was giving diner dash. The only thing I would recommend is a more detailed player model.

This was such a fun and unique concept! It reminded me of the setup in Overcooked. It would've been nice to see a display of points/hunger that shows feedback for how much the player needs. Great job!

I enjoyed how you made the theme of being in a kitchen and focusing on how to make that the focus of the game. Like other comments have said, the UI as well as the character models could be developed more but I feel that the overall concept and gameplay is very interesting and unique.

This is a really great game with different ideas. When I was playing it, it gives me a comfortable feeling that other games(FPS) can't. If you can add the assets to the cook and customers, it will be better!

This was a really interesting approach to the assignment, considering a lot of the other groups chose a combat style game and I really enjoyed it. Having the enemies pick up food that you are near as opposed to just blocking your path might make some of the future levels more challenging. Having a UI that also displays the users hunger/satiation will make the storyline more cohesive instead of just displaying it as the score.

I absolutely love the concept of this game and found it to be very relaxing. It reminds me a lot of one of those farming simulators, but instead you are farming food! I also really agree with what @jbekk said. I think that having a room showing all of the food you ate on top of the counter would be a wonderful touch to the game. Nicely done!

Overall, I liked the concept you were going for in this game. The cooking/eating theme was definitely different from a typical adventure/action game and I like the aesthetic.

I really like the comfortable feel you were going for with this game. I appreciated you stepping outside the sort of action game and pulling out a cooking game. I really like the concept and the way it was implemented. I thought the level design was nice and I could tell you were really sticking the the them you were going for. Overall, I thought the game was really well done.

I really like the concept and feel of this game because it brings out a really comfy vibe rather than the stress of escaping. It reminds me of Overcooked with a similar cooking/chill vibe but with less stress in the playing of the game. Overall, I like how the game works.

Very cute game! I think I mentioned this during the presentation of it, but I think an idea to keep the more cutesy and cozy theme would be to have a final room that held all the items you ate, in order to give a player a feeling of accomplishment! By having this visual award, it could be cool to have players share what they chose to eat with other people :)

I love the kitchen assets, it fit the mood of the game so perfectly. It was really cute and I also liked the music. Maybe for improvement, you guys can also design the character to have human form to make it more realistic?

I do think you guys have an interesting idea for the game and it makes me memorize that there is a game on PSP about three kingdoms, and inside the game, there is a minigame that you need to compete with NPC to see who eats faster. The idea of let NPC block your way from eating the food is creative, and I would suggest you improve the customers so there can be more interaction and interference. Overall, I like the game, and I am willing to see more progress.
